Game Commission deer management open house Saturday
Sun GazetteTIOGA - Visitors to the Ives Run visitor center near here Saturday will have the opportunity to learn about the state Game Commission's deer management program.
An open house is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to a press release from the commission.
Multimedia presentations, exhibits and wildlife managers will be featured at the event, to educate visitors about the finer details of deer management.
Specialized stations will be set up throughout the center, spaced apart so visitors with questions or comments for station attendants have room to communicate on a one-to-one basis. More...
