Michael C. Foy
Michael C. “Mike” Foy, 57, of Port Allegany, PA, passed away with his loving family at his side on Friday, January 25, 2013 in Charles Cole Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit, Coudersport, after a long illness.
Born December 4, 1955 in Philadelphia, he was a son of Thomas J. and Anna M. Morris Foy, Sr.
Mike served with the U.S. Marines for four years. He attended UCLA for computer programming.
A resident of Port Allegany since 1995, he had previously lived in Philadelphia.
Mike was a member of the 5M Hunting Club in Smethport. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to play shuffleboard, pool, and darts. He loved to drive his convertible.
Surviving are two daughters, Michele G. Foy and Christina M. (Stacy Cobb) Foy, both of Coudersport; a son Michael T. (Jessica) Foy of Greensboro, NC; and four grandchildren, Zachary, Victoria, McKayla, and Brianna.
In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by a granddaughter, Adara Lynn Cobb; a brother, Anthony Foy; and a sister, Teresa Foy.
A private celebration of Mike’s life will held with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christmas House, 1 Water Street, Coudersport, PA 16915.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, PA.
