Warren Man Not Hurt When Van Rolls On Side Near Emporium

There were no injuries in a one vehicle crash on Rt. 46 in Shippen Township on Monday at 1:50 PM.

Daniel Mechling, 53, of Warren, PA,  was driving a white Ford E-350 Van south on Rt. 46 when he struck a patch of ice and subsequently rolled his vehicle onto it's left side.

Trooper Michael G. Meko, who investigated, said Mechling was traveling too fast for the current road conditions. He will be cited for (not) Driving Vehicle At Safe Speed in District Court 59-3-01.
