I want to know what the hell is taking them so long??? There was ample time again to prepare for this storm and they should have had that damn road open already! Pendot you SUCK!!!!
PennDot does a great job! I would love to see you do what those guys do! Jump on out there and try it if you think you can do a better job! Thanks guys for all your hard work :)
Half of the time their junk trucks are broke down. They only have a few truck to do hundreds of miles of road and they have to be called out by somebody. They don't live in the shed idiot, they have to drive to work from their homes and when the roads are bad it might take an hour to get to work. Night times there may be only one guy to cover all the roads in their district. Bitch to the state if you aren't happy with the way things are. You are probably one of those people that want all these services, but don't think your taxes should be raised to pay for stuff so DEAL with it.
They knew the storm was comming but you can't plow water. If you think you can do a better and faster job then you should work for them. You probably couldn't get you behind out of bed and work 12 hour shifts. Maybe you could design a plane so they could fly over your roads. Its not like a factory where they can have a warehouse full of wares on stock to ship out. They have miles and miles of roads to get plowed in a few hours so people can get to work and buses to school and as fast as it was comming down havd to start over as soon as they got the first run done. Penn Dot workers you are doing a SUPER. I sure I do not want your job. All you get is crap. You can't go out until you get called in. All you people that are complaining Please apply for a job if you can do so much better. Most of you can't get your --- out of bed let alone do a 12 hour shift.I do Not work for Penn Dot and wouldn't want to and have to put up with the whinners and the people that don't know which end their talking out of.
We should have a "like" button here because I like poster 7:37pm comment
4:19, did you have drive on 44 south after a snowstorm? there will still be snow on that road 3 days from now unless mother nature melts if off herself. that road is a joke to begin with.
6:36, pretty sure they work split schedules to deal with storms. maybe instead of sitting in their shop for hours drinking coffee they should be out plowing. there should have been a crew come in at midnight and leave at noon. the 2nd shift crew comes in at noon and leaves at midnight. when there isn't snow they should be working 4am-12pm and 12pm to 8pm. nice try though.
4.19 6.36 7.37 from a penn dot worker thank you
9:09 Hey Guess you can't count either 4 to 12 and 12 to 8 is 8 hours but in the winter if roads are bad they work 12 hour shifts 12 to 12 and HOW can they plow water. It was rain all morning. I am sure they would work all 12 hour shifts if you would like to pay them. Quit your complaining and apply for a job then you could plow your own roads.Penn Dot is doing a great job and you should appreciate them because if the government has its way March 1st there will be no workers and Whata going to do then??? we will all be laid off and you won't have to worry about going anywhere. Appreciate what you have now cause its going away soon.
9.09 i would love to see your candy ass in a penn dot truck if you are as great as you seem to think you get off your ass and aply
i sit in my warm house and i watch those guys go past in horrible weather i hear them go past allnight long i salute these guys i think they do a very very good job for being mountain roads they have me respect
They are also good at hitting mailboxes! ....Year after year.
